Below you will find a brief description of treatment used in our facility and how does it help in reaching the goal of healthy body.
Electrotherapy - is the use of electrical energy in the treatment of impairments of health and a conditions of abnormal functioning. It is basically composed of the use of electric currents, referred to as "Tesla currents", in therapeutic applications. Electrotherapy is used to reduce the pain, prevent inflammation, as a muscle relaxant and stimulant. Electrotherapy has also an effect on prevention the muscle atrophy and it helps to maintain the range of motion
Ultrasound – acoustic waves of high frequency (1-3MHz) are used in medical treatment. The tissue that is radiated by means of this type of waves undergoes micromassage whose effect is the increased temperature and accelerated microcirculation. The above tissue reactions have analgesic, relaxing and healing accelerating effects. By means of the increased blood circulation and mechanical activity of the ultrasound waves, one can observe the favorable effect in the treatment of soft tissue calcification. This is one of a few deep heating physical agents.
Movement therapy - is a set of exercises which help regaining physical mobility after accidents or serious injuries
Massage – is thought to be the oldest form of medical therapy practiced on the human body. Massage is a “hands-on” therapy in which muscles and other soft tissues of the body are manipulated to improve health and well-being. Varieties of massage range from gentle stroking and kneading of muscles and other soft tissues to deeper manual techniques. It helps relieve muscle tension, reduce stress, and evoke feelings of calmness. Although massage affects the body as a whole, it particularly influences the activity of the musculoskeletal, circulatory, lymphatic and nervous systems.
